Timeline
This journey all started in March, 2022 during our – Tess and Eleanor’s – friend-honeymoon in the Tuscan countryside. Hoping to escape the business of London, we stayed in a lovely agriturismo (think of it as a farm-side B&B) in the outskirts of Lucca. It was during those days, driving through the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany, listening to Italian classics, and eating our way through every pasta dish possible, that we dreamt up the concept of La Scarpetta Supper Club.

Our mission to bring community together over food will take shape as a Food Market cross Street Party in 2025. Our pivot away from our traditional supper clubs is an effort to bring more community members together at a more accessible price point. The La Scarpetta Market will continue to support Slow Food’s grants toward school gardening initiatives. We aim to grow our partner network to produce a delicious, inspiring, and multicultural experience.
